Microsoft Empowers Singapore IT partners to Broaden their IoT Offerings
FREMONT, CA: Computer software giant Microsoft is empowering over 50 IT partners in Singapore including independent software vendors and application builders in a view to support its Smart Nation Vision by helping government and private organizations to increase Internet Of Things (IoT) applications. These partners build applications by utilizing the untapped data as workable knowledge to help organizations in becoming customer centric and more responsive.
The proliferation of data and devices creates a vast opportunity for the businesses to make their applications more intelligent by tapping into the data. The combination of cloud, connectivity and mobility technologies are also enabling the enterprise models to shift toIoT for reimaging their businesses.
Microsoft has chosen its partners based their vision of IoT adoption and acceleration in business transformation. These partners having presence in across industry verticals such as manufacturing, oil and gas, building management, and healthcare co-develop solutions around asset management, smart building facilities, remote monitoring and predictive maintenance to build an environment integrating the devices, connectivity and analytics through cloud. The lists of partners include Astoria solutions, Nextan and S3 Innovate.
The initiative from Microsoft will enable selected partners to boost their IoT capabilities in Singapore. The partners will have deeper access to Microsoft Azure IoT suite technical roadmap that helps partners to broaden their IoT offerings through pre-configured solutions.
